As a programmer since childhood and with a solid background in building construction, David recognized the gaps and efficiency issues in construction companies early on.
His vision was to develop software that would not only simplify projects, but also help teams achieve more with less.
The result of this vision is XBuild – a platform that can be adapted to the basic principles of the ten most important project management methods with a single click.

Tobias J. Rieser

After graduating from high school, Tobias Rieser began his studies in computer science and was already involved in numerous IT projects during his early self-employment.
When he met David during his studies, he shared his vision for XBuild and couldn’t get away from it.
During their studies, they started developing our software together.
In the meantime, Tobias takes care of the business areas and the well-being of our customers.

Gründung of XBuild GmbH

This idea became reality in August 2016

David Abfalterer developed the initial idea for our software over many years.
David has been passionate about programming since his youth.
Through his technical training in the field of building construction, he became aware of the industry-specific problems and tried to solve them with innovative software.

As the project quickly took on larger proportions, he brought Tobias Rieser on board.
Tobias and David met during their computer science studies and Tobias was immediately convinced by the idea.
He saw the immense benefits of an all-in-one construction software and together they developed the first version of XBuild.

XBuild GmbH (formerly sitelogg GmbH) was founded in August 2016 for development and marketing.
In 2019 and 2020, the tech team was expanded to include additional employees.
Tobias now takes care of the business management areas around XBuild.

In the course of the pandemic-related realignment of the company and the launch of XBuild in December 2020, the pair brought additional team members on board, who have been taking care of operational activities and actively supporting the two of them ever since.
